Electrical Services in Gravesend & North Kent

I'm Tristan, a NICEIC-approved electrician running Envy Electrical out of Northfleet and covering Gravesend and the wider North Kent area. I take on the lot — everyday jobs around the house, bigger installs like rewires and EV chargers, landlord testing, and small commercial work. Whatever it is, you deal with me from the first call to the final certificate.

Everyday electrical work

The bread and butter is the domestic stuff: extra sockets and lights put where you actually want them, a new consumer unit, fault finding when something keeps tripping, smoke alarms, and getting ovens, hobs and other appliances wired in safely. Small jobs get the same care as the big ones — no job's too little to do properly.

Bigger installs

When it's a larger piece of work, that's full and partial rewires, EV charge points on the drive, and power and lighting run out to a garage, garden office, workshop or shed. Garden lighting too, spec'd to survive a Kent winter. EV chargers are one of the main things I'm called for these days, especially across the newer estates around Ebbsfleet.

Testing, compliance & commercial

On the testing side I carry out EICRs for homeowners, landlords and letting agents — the inspection report a rented property legally needs every five years — along with consumer unit upgrades to bring older installations up to current standards. For small commercial premises like shops, salons and offices I take on installations, additions and EICRs as well, with £5m public liability behind every job.

Everything's done to BS 7671, certified properly and notified to Building Control where it's needed — not just a verbal all-clear. I'm NICEIC approved and qualified through City & Guilds, EAL, ECS and BPEC, and notifiable work is backed by the 6-year NICEIC Platinum Promise.
